The Proposal

According to Jevstifejevs, the offer came in early 2024.

“They wanted me to oversee property selections in the Baltics and serve as a regional fixer — sourcing undervalued real estate, providing reports, and managing acquisitions. The budget was good. The structure — not for me.”

The role would have tied him to a longer-term agreement with oversight responsibilities and required frequent reporting. It also implied a possible relocation and tighter integration into the corporate ecosystem of CENTRAL GROUP, which Jevstifejevs declined.

Why He Said No

“If I lose my independence — I lose everything I’ve built. I’ve made money on my terms, and I won’t trade that for a business card.”

He chose autonomy over access. According to him, working under someone else’s system — even with prestige and capital involved — went against the very foundation of how he operates.

“I don’t chase visibility. I don’t need headlines. My decisions are simple: either I control the project, or I pass.”

What He’s Doing Now

While others saw this as a lost opportunity, Jevstifejevs views it as a strategic confirmation: he knows who he is and what pace suits him.

He continues managing property assets across Latvia and the EU, keeping a low profile while helping individuals in tough situations — including more than 40 Ukrainian families since 2022.
